Why are Forest Kids products recommended from age 3?
Babies' skin is still developing and more sensitive. We believe in bathing babies with just water to help build their natural skin barrier. Our products are tailored for children aged 3 and up, when their skin is more resilient and routines become playful and fun.
Are Forest Kids products safe and mild?
Yes. Children’s skin is more delicate than adults’, which is why we focus on creating mild, gentle, and effective formulations. All our products are dermatologically tested and developed with experienced formulators under EU cosmetic regulations.
Are the products tested on sensitive skin?
Absolutely. All Forest Kids products undergo patch testing on sensitive skin to ensure they are safe, mild, and kind to all skin types.
Are Forest Kids products vegan?
Yes, all our products are 100% vegan and never tested on animals, in or outside the EU.
Are Forest Kids products organic?
Each formula includes at least 10% certified organic ingredients, such as blueberry and sunflower oil. We also list the percentage of ingredients from natural origin, ranging from 95% to 99.5%.
What does "natural" mean in your products?
"Natural origin" means the ingredient is derived from plants, minerals, or microbes. We calculate our natural content according to ISO 16128, always ensuring a safe and high-quality product.
Are the products hypoallergenic or 26-free?
Yes. Our fragrances are below the declaration threshold or free from the 26 EU-listed allergens. This makes them safer and gentler for both children and adults.
What is your view on essential oils?
We avoid essential oils in our fragrances because they often contain allergens. Instead, we use mild, allergen-safe perfumes specifically developed for sensitive skin.
What is a hair detangler and how is it used?
Our Detangler is a leave-in conditioner spray designed to soften and smooth hair. Use it on towel-dried or dry hair to help detangle and control flyaways — no rinsing needed.
Are your packaging and production sustainable?
Yes. Our products are made in Sweden to minimize transport and environmental impact. The bottles are made from 100% recycled plastic and are fully recyclable.
Can pregnant women use Forest Kids products?
Yes, all our products are safe for use during pregnancy.
What is All Over Oil and how can I use it?
Out All Over Oil can be used for body hydration, massages, during and after pregnancy, or to relieve dry patches. It’s suitable for both kids and adults with sensitive skin.
